Anthony Morrison – Live Talk in Las Vegas
I have to say….
Giving live talks isn’t something I have done for quite some time now. In fact, I actually purposefully stopped doing live talks at events about 5 years ago so I could spend more time at home with my family. As we entered 2016 I had a few speaking request roll across my desk from friends that I just couldn’t turn down, and it turns out I’m glad it happened. I was able to speak in Las Vegas, NV at the Mandalay Bay Casino last week to an audience of over 600 people who were energetic and ready to learn! It was an absolutely awesome experience. There were quite a few speakers at the event like Grant Cardone, Tai Lopez and of course Alex Becker himself which helped to energize the crowd.
There were a few things I learned from my experience this past weekend:
- People love to learn… I can’t tell you how many “thank you’s” I got after my speech.
- People love to be motivated… one of the things I was told the most is “man I am energized and refocused now after listening to you speak”
- People want more out of life than just money… many people told me they wanted to just “feel better” about their level of success or abilities. I found that to be very interesting.
I left this event thinking to myself…. heck I am re-energized and refocused myself. It was quite a revelation to me because all this time I have been speaking typically to “motivate” and “inspire” other people yet I left this event feeling ready to achieve greater success in my own business.
I personally think it just goes to show that being around successful and driven people can motivate anyone even those of us who think we are able to stay motivated and driven everyday on our own.
I don’t suggest going to hundreds of events…. I do, however, view them a bit differently today than I did even just a week ago. I feel like what I got out of my talk was equal to what the crowd got out of it… how cool is that?
I’ll be giving more talks in 2016 and I will post my schedule here for you incase you happen to be in the area or want to travel to attend. I do believe attending a few events each year can keep you focused and motivated for greater success!
See you soon!
